Spider-Man No Way Home Teaser update: It’s still not yet confirmed on the return of Tobey Maguire’s and Andre Grafiled’s Spiderman in Spider-Man No Way Home but according to the leak, we might see them in the Act 2 of the movie. But after all, we know Jamie Foxx and Alfred Molina are both on board as Electro and Doctor Octopus respectively, giving us one villain each from the Sam Raimi and Marc Webb timelines.
We still don’t know the plot of the movie but when Alfred Molina asked John Watts on his entrance in the movie, he replied-
“Your character will be de-aged and will pick-up from where you ended in Spider-Man 2”
As we didn’t see Doctor Octopus die in the movie, so it makes all sense that he hadn’t died because he travelled back in the multiverse to the world of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man.
Doctor Strange will have a vital role in the movie as we knew it before too. According to the leak, the movie will start from where Far From Home ended. After that, Peter will be seen in court in proving his innocence. But Doctor Strange will be interrupting the court for taking Spidey with him as their chaos of the multiverse already gets started.
Tobey and Andrew’s Spiderman will not have any idea on how they ended up here but also it’s been almost confirmed that this movie isn’t meant for only Tom’s Spidey. All the three will have alone screen time too.
In Act 3, we’ll see all the three along with Doctor Strange, fighting against the villains of the movie so that they may settle one multiverse problem.
We might not see all the things in one movie so, we might see both Tobey and Andrew in Doctor Strange 2. It’s not yet confirmed but after all, it’s multiverse, so we shouldn’t get too attached with it.
Spider-Man No Way Home Release Date
The new Spider-Man movie is due in theaters on December 17, 2021. That being said, we could see this date pushing back if theaters aren’t ready to re-open, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
A movie of this magnitude likely won’t hit streaming services before theaters, this isn’t a Warner Bros. movie.

Reports suggest that Sony Pictures may be holding onto a Spider-Man 3 trailer, that it’s just waiting to drop.
We do have a clip of the title announcement, though:
